When you hire Cardon, Stuart & Associates, you hire attorneys — not a case mill. Our Ogden-based practice is deliberately small: two partners who know Utah's DUI and criminal courts, supported by a staff that answers the phone 24/7. Every consultation is reviewed personally by an attorney.
Kelly Cardon — Founding Partner
Kelly Cardon founded the firm and has spent decades practicing law in Ogden and across northern Utah. His practice spans DUI defense, criminal defense, personal injury, and estate planning — the full range of problems that walk through the door of a community law office. Kelly is a member of the Utah State Bar (Bar #00570), and his name has been attached to the firm's reputation in Weber County courtrooms for a generation.

Brady Stuart — Managing Partner
Brady Stuart is the firm's managing partner and leads its DUI and criminal defense practice statewide. He earned his J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah and is licensed by the Utah State Bar (Bar #13591). Brady's practice is built around the deadlines that decide DUI cases — above all the 10-day window to request a Driver License Division hearing after an arrest — and around trying the cases that should be tried rather than pleading them out.

Why a Two-Attorney Firm
Legal marketing rewards size — big teams, big buildings, big caseloads. We've made the opposite bet. A deliberately small firm means the attorney who hears your story is the attorney who negotiates with the prosecutor and stands next to you in court. Nothing is lost in handoffs, because there are none. It means we take fewer cases and know each one cold — the body-cam footage, the calibration records, the officer's history on cross-examination. And it means accountability is personal: our names are on the door and on every result.
The trade-off is honest: we are not the right firm for someone who wants a brand-name letterhead. We are the right firm for someone who wants two experienced Utah lawyers — one who has practiced in these courtrooms for decades, one who tries the cases other lawyers plead — personally on their side of the aisle.
